Cafe 422 originally opened in 1939 when friends Guerino "Greenie" Abruzzi and Orazio Rossi realized their dream of having their own restaurant. Today, Café 422 is still a fantastic place for a date night thanks to its emphasis on homemade foods. When you're first starting your meal, be sure to order the famous hot peppers in oil as an appetizer.
For your main course, you can't go wrong with one of the restaurant's specialties, including freshly cut certified Angus beef steaks, fresh seafood, and a variety of pasta dishes that come with homemade sauces. Located just two miles outside of downtown Boardman, Michael Alberini's Restaurant and Wine Shop has an intimate atmosphere that's sure to make your dinner special. While a collection of over 600 wines might feel intimidating, the servers are trained to help you pick the best pairing to go with your meal.
Begin your dinner by sharing the eggplant rollatini, Thai shrimp, or sausage-stuffed hot peppers as an appetizer. You can then follow your appetizer with one of the restaurant's signature entrees. Delicious options include the fire-grilled mahi, Neapolitan lasagna, chicken piccata, and Sicilian-stuffed eggplant. The pecan pork chops are another popular menu item. They're fire-grilled, covered with apple butter and toasted pecans, and served with blistered green beans and sweet mashed potatoes.
Selah

Selah is situated about six miles northeast of Boardman in Struthers near the Mahoning River. Here you'll enjoy a unique dining experience created from the blend of experiences that owners Jeff Chann and Brian Palumbo had in their kitchens growing up and their travels around the world. The restaurant itself is housed in an old banking building that still has the brass teller cages and walk-in vault. When the weather is fine, you can enjoy your meal outside on the beautiful patio lit with softly glowing string lights.
The dinner menu has a delicious variety of steaks, seafood, chicken, and pasta entrees. One popular option is the citrus pan-roasted salmon, which comes with wild Alaskan sockeye salmon cooked in a citrus-garlic marinade.
